What are Football Rankings?
Opponent-adjusted ratings for every team across six indexes — Firepower, Fortress, Tempo, Clutch, Razor and Chaos — plus match probabilities and projected scorelines for upcoming fixtures. Every league, cup and continental match counts; friendlies don't.
What does “opponent-adjusted” mean?
Scoring three against the league leaders says more than scoring three against the bottom side. Every result is weighed against the strength of the opposition, home advantage and how high-scoring the competition is, so ratings reflect genuine quality rather than a kind fixture list.
What do the match percentages mean?
They are the model's probabilities. Fireworks is the chance of three or more goals, Fast Start the chance of a goal in the first 15 minutes, and Late Drama the chance of a goal from the 75th minute. The projected score shows how many goals the model expects each side to score.
What's the difference between Teams and World?
Teams rates each side within a single league. World rates each team on every competition it plays and compares it with every men's, women's or youth team worldwide. Both describe how strong a team is within its own competition — they are not a cross-league power ranking.
What does the form window control?
Season uses every match in the competition this season. Last 10 and Last 5 focus on the most recent matches — still adjusted for opponent strength — so you can spot teams on a run that season-long numbers might hide.
How often are rankings updated?
Every few hours. The model is rebuilt from the latest results on every run, so ratings always reflect the most recent matches.
