I sit here on Sunday morning with an idea. Even though I am the founder of OddAlerts, a still find myself going to LiveScore to quickly check the results of yesterday’s games around the UK. Why? Because using the fixture feeds was initially designed with the intention of looking into the future for football matches, not the past.
So, if I was to create a tool with the single purpose of looking at recent football results that were interesting to me, then how would that work?
I’m going to build this tool for myself and see if others like it. I want a page that shows me the recent scores from the top leagues in the world. We can group games by competition, but also with something else. We could show all recent games ranked by a certain stat.
Most goals? Most home goals? Most cards?
I will keep the page simple, intentionally.
